Questions About Applying
A few things people often ask before starting an application. If you don't see yours, just ask Andy.
How long does the application take to complete?
The form takes about 10–15 minutes. It asks for basic information about you and the loan you're considering — there's no need to gather documents before you start.
Does submitting this application affect my credit?
Completing the form itself does not affect your credit. If a credit check is needed later, it's typically a soft check first, and any hard inquiry only happens with your permission once you decide to move forward.
What documents will I need?
Not at this stage. After Andy reviews your profile, he'll let you know what may be needed — commonly recent pay stubs, W-2s or tax returns, and bank statements. For firefighters and first responders, that may also include documentation of overtime or shift income.
What happens after I submit my application?
Andy personally reviews every application, identifies the loan programs that may fit your situation, and reaches out — usually within one business day — with a personalized comparison of real numbers and rates.
Am I committed to a loan once I apply?
No. Submitting the application simply starts the conversation. You're free to review your options and only move forward if and when it makes sense for you — there's no obligation.
Can I apply if I'm a firefighter with overtime income?
Yes. Andy regularly helps firefighters and first responders whose income includes overtime and shift differentials. Note it in the application's optional notes field, and Andy will explain how that income may be reviewed.
Have a Question Before You Apply?
If you'd rather talk it through before filling anything out, Andy is happy to answer questions on a quick, no-pressure call.
